5 Ways to Celebrate Fall at Walt Disney World

Ah, Autumn. The air is crisp, the trees are bursting with color and Starbucks FINALLY brought back the PSL. It's the perfect time of year!

However, fall does look a little different in Florida. The temperature drops to a nice 81 degrees, the palm trees are (still) a bright shade of green and you should definitely consider getting that PSL iced... but fall is still in full swing as far as Mickey Mouse is considered!

Below are just a few events, activities and attractions to take advantage of during the fall season at the Walt Disney World Resort.

I've got a beanie on my head, some fuzzy boots on my feet and a salted caramel frappuccino in hand - let's go!

1. The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is an annual food festival typically running from late September to mid-November. Guests can eat and drink their way around the World Showcase, which houses 11 countries. Each pavilion offers specialty food and drink items that originated in that country!

2. The Festive Decorations

Disney knows that stereotypical Autumn weather can be hard to experience in Florida. It's certainly not unheard of, but - as mentioned earlier - it's different!

They do an amazing job of decorating the parks - Magic Kingdom especially - to reflect the current season! Whether it's winter or fall, Disney is always in style.

Glowing Mickey pumpkins and bright orange garland can be found all along Main Street U.S.A.!

3. The Themed Entertainment Offerings

The Main Street U.S.A Trolley performers, along with the Dapper Dans, get all dressed up for fall!

These unique characters can now be seen in different hues and costumes in honor of the season.

During Autumn, they will even perform to, or sing, special songs!

4. The Special Ticketed Event

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the perfect fall event for the whole family.

There is trick-or-treating, specialty snacks, unique character interactions and more!

The ghouls and ghosts of the evening are appropriate for all ages, and allergy-friendly candy is available upon request.

You can't miss the Boo To You Parade and Not-So-Spooky Firework Spectacular! These entertainment offerings are only for MNSSHP attendees.

Talk about VIG (very important ghost) treatment!

5. The Lighter Park Attendance

Okay, so... Maybe this isn't a special event or a Halloween snack. BUT who doesn't love a not-so-crowded theme park (see what I did there)!?

While you're enjoying yourself at the Disney Theme Parks this fall, be sure to appreciate your bubble of personal space that isn't being invaded by other tourists!

May your spooky season be sweet, and your PSL even sweeter!
